Restored artwork in the organ loft of San Jeronimo Church in Tlacochahuaya, a small, exquisitely painted room high above the main altar that contains a stunning antique organ. Both the Church and the organ were in the last stages of a thorough restoration when I visited in 2014 and they were preparing for an organ festival in Mexico, where acclaimed organists would play concerts on recently restored organs to celebrate their new functionality.
I am a multi-media artist and craftswoman. My training includes coursework in sculpture at the Corcoran School in Washington, DC and at the Rufino Tamayo Taller in Oaxaca, Mexico, where I lived for 14 years until 2021. I've worked extensively in many genres including paper and digital collage, acrylic and oil painting, needle felting, paper mache, colored pencil, watercolor and line drawing.
