Description

This beautiful old building was once a textile factory, and in the small Mexican town of San Agustin I met an old woman who worked there in her youth. When I first moved to Mexico in 2008, the great Mexican artist Francisco Toledo was in the process of buying the building and grounds, and converting it into the international art school it has become. It now hosts amazing art exhibits of Oaxacan artists and is open to the public daily. I visited often because it is such a beautiful place to spend a day.
