Description
Tlacochahuaya is renowned for its 1678 Baroque organ housed on the balcony above the 16th century gilded Dominican church sanctuary. This is a photograph of the organ stops. The organ had recently been beautifully restored when I took this photo in 2014, and a concert was being planned, part of a country-wide festival celebrating the restorations of many old organs throughout Mexico.
