Our throw pillows are made from 100% spun polyester poplin fabric and add a stylish statement to any room. Pillows are available in sizes from 14" x 14" up to 26" x 26". Continuing with my kitchen art/coffee art theme, here i wanted to portray the joyful energy of a morning leap into the day. Colored pencils were my only art supplies at the beginning of the pandemic as I left my fully stocked studio in Mexico behind. They are a wonderful medium, light, easy to transport, lots of wonderful colors. Since then I have gotten into the much messier collage/mixed medium business which leave splatters and bits everywhere.
I am a multi-media artist and craftswoman. My training includes coursework in sculpture at the Corcoran School in Washington, DC and at the Rufino Tamayo Taller in Oaxaca, Mexico, where I lived for 14 years until 2021. I've worked extensively in many genres including paper and digital collage, acrylic and oil painting, needle felting, paper mache, colored pencil, watercolor and line drawing. My experience in the active artistic community of Oaxaca was richly rewarding.
