Description
Vintage Book Endpaper Colorization and Collage. The old process of marbleizing endpapers for books in the 18th and 19th centuries was a toxic and complex operation. Marbleization today is much easier, and can be done by pouring and/or contact printing with acrylic paint. Or we can use Photoshop for similar but nowhere near as artistic or subtle results. It's worth appreciating the old art. In these constructions I have played with the color and made very simple collages to enhance the original endpapers.
