This beautiful elderly woman gave me permission to photograph her feeding her gaggle of geese and hens, which provide eggs and no doubt meat for herself and her husband. Their come is the shack behind. They live in tropical Veracruz, and like many people who lived in the town, their homes were often open to the elements like this to fight the heat.
