Design 6 Lucretia metal print by Lorena Cassady. Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. Artist's Description
This is the sixth in the series New Directions, and it took an unexpected turn when Lucretia showed up. According to tradition, this Roman lady was raped and subsequently committed suicide, which precipitated a rebellion. Rome was changed from a monarchy to a Republic.
About Lorena Cassady
I am a multi-media artist and craftswoman. My training includes coursework in sculpture at the Corcoran School in Washington, DC and at the Rufino Tamayo Taller in Oaxaca, Mexico, where I lived for 14 years until 2021. I've worked extensively in many genres including paper and digital collage, acrylic and oil painting, needle felting, paper mache, colored pencil, watercolor and line drawing.
